America’s first resort destination, Palm Beach thrives today as both a sanctuary and a stage. In a narrative that transitions from radiant beach mornings to opulent coastal facades, afternoon promenades to the quiet glow of the evening, photographer Jeannie Albers crafts a poetic visual journey through a weekend in Palm Beach. This cinematic exploration of the city’s duality takes in its radiant natural coastline and its cultivated Gilded Age elegance, all captured through an artful lens that balances architecture, nature, and twilight sensibility. A deeply personal and atmospheric vision that reveals Palm Beach’s contemporary rhythm with hidden textures, from sunlit palms, dramatic archways, mood-lit interiors and coastal twilight.

the Book

Gilded history echoes in every columned veranda and opulent promenade of Palm Beach—from Henry Flagler’s estates to Ocean Boulevard. Leisurely beach strolls meet vibrant arts, exclusive boutiques, and culinary finesse, as dappled sunlight dances across tropical gardens. As dusk falls, the pastel hues deepen, revealing a serene and radiant evening, with brightly lit windows glowing against the dark silhouettes of palm trees. Jeannie Albers’ visual narrative takes you on a weekend trip through the palm-lined streets to the shaded sculpture garden of Ann Norton, the sumptuous interiors of the Flagler Museum, world class dining at La Goulue, and some other hidden gems of the city. Elegant, poised, and full of quiet magnetism, this book transports you not only to the grand opulence to see past the facade to the quiet reflections of the shoreline that lies beyond.

Based primarily in Orlando and “often elsewhere,” she brings her deep sense of narrative, mood, and artistry wherever she shoots.

Artist Review: Guillaume Sardin

Guillaume Sardin occupies an artistic space of wonder that is at once disciplined and childlike. A space where the warmth of a human hand overrides digital perfection, and the characteristic whimsy of his “narrative drawings” belie the deep skill that goes into the studied relaxedness of every line.
